Pak Kret (Thai: ปากเกร็ด) is a city municipality (thesaban nakhon) in the district of the same name in Nonthaburi Province, Thailand. It lies in the Central Thai plains on the eastern bank of the lower Chao Phraya River, bordering Nonthaburi City to the south and Pathum Thani Province to the north. It is a suburb of the capital city of Bangkok, which it borders to the east, forming the continuous urban development of the Bangkok Metropolitan Region. With a registered population of 178,907, Pak Kret is the second-most populous city municipality in Thailand after Nonthaburi (not counting Bangkok, which is defined as a special administrative area).
